 * We need to monitor and measure more, to be able to make informed decisions based on facts.

= Power measurement - Distribution Board =
 * Normally the power in a house all flows through a DB (Distribution board) making it the ideal place to measure power.
 * Power Watts = Voltage  x Current(Amps), for most houses the Voltage is fixed (here 220v) and we only need the current to calculate Watt's.
   * Amps are normally measure in two ways.
     1. Invasive,  by having a resistor in series with a circuit and measure voltage drop over the resistor.  
     2. Non-invasive with coil around single wire carrying current, the current induces a magnetic field that induces a voltage in the clamp around the wire.
