SNMPc Network monitoring notes
- SNMPc is a windows based, simple network monitoring tool with a couple of advaced features.
- IT is very straight forward to get running once you obtained a licence and has remote clients that connect to a server doing the actual monitoring.
Monitoring SNMP variable e.g. OSPF full status
- Monitoring a neighbors OSPF status, select the monitoring router right click and edit properties.
- Net.Obj.Properties Tab-Attributes, select Status Variables
- Repace with (update IP of remote): RFC1253-MIB|ospfNbrState.10.10.1.1.0
- Change Status Value to: full.
