- Bolts
- M16 x 8.8 - 125kN ??
- M12 x 8.8 - 67kN ??
- Using tow-bar (not tow ball) for recovery ?

- Tow (Pintal) hitch with pin and ball, put pin through loop of rope.
- Not rated.
- If bolt's connecting it to the towbar fail, you have a big piece of metal flying at high speed.
+ Can be made save if used with lanyard connected to rope and differnet point on vehicle.
+ big bolt with a large surface area on rope eye.
+ Quick to assemble, and get to if chassis in sand.
- Recovery hook
+ Rated, attached with two bolts.
+ Open, does not need shackel, just hook rope, less metal to fly.
- If bolts break, hook fly's off on kinetic rope, but as rope slows it can fly off on it's own.
install directly on chassis, one on each side, and use bridal (>3m) to spread load over both.
